    220 Sharpening stone

Great stones, I have exclusively used Edge Pro Stones for over 5 years now! The 220 is perfect for new knives that need an adjustment on the edge.

I absolutely love this stone. It is the cornerstone of all of sharpening. The Edge Pro Professional is an exceptional product and the 220 is the perfect stone to get things started in the sharpening process. I have owned other brands of stones in this grit range but the Edge Pro stone has out-lasted and out-performed all of them. Thank you Ben. Peter Nowlan, Haliax Nova Scotia, Canada.

This is the work horse of the stones. Several passes on each side are necessary on moderately dull knives, but the absolute minimum amount of material is being removed. I previously used an electric sharpener with spinning discs and the medium (burr setting) disc removes far more metal (unnecessarily) than the 220 grit stone.

This is my favorite stone for all purpose sharpening. It is not too course to put a good edge on something, but not too fine to not cut much metal. An excellent all-around stone. I also find that this stone does not wear very fast at all (as compared to the 120 and 320 which wear much faster).

Great as a starting stone as it will remove metal pretty fast. For quick sharpening also.
