Completely changed the accuracy and thus the sharpness. Once you use it you won't go back. My Apex 4 is several years old and it fit right in place. No issues.

Great accessory
I highly recommend the Slide Guide for the Edge Pro Apex. It holds shorter blades more securely for sharpening and it's high quality machined aluminum. I really like it.

Nice flexibility for a Variety of Knives
I procrastinated buying this attachment due to its price. Now that I have it and have been using it for some time I find that it simplifies my setup for sharpening blades. This is a nice improvement to my Apex.

Works exactly as advertised, and really, it's a necessity for smaller blades. The only downer - it's a little pricey, imo.

Slide Guide
To me this slide guide add on is really great. It's like it was always meant to be. The knife has a solid connection to the base. With the magnet the blade sticks like super glue. SOOOOO much easier to layout and sharpen unusual and simple blades. Great add on!
